The honeymooner heart.

Looking through an old LIFE book, I saw two honeymooners soaking in the most delicious bath of all bubbletime! This heart is so perfectly shaped and made of tiny little square tiles that no one could resist it. And if I told you that girl is me, my mom wouldn't believe me coz she'd claim it's her.

The little girl heart.

Ten years old and she saw her mom being hit by some big, hairy, ex-coloniser beasts that had no teeth and some dried toothpaste stuck on their blue gums. Since then she's all set and ready for the next monster-arrival.

The official heart.

Massachusetts, 2004. The first US state to issue same sex licences. And I guess God can no more define what's right or wrong when it comes to marriage.

H τεμπέλα καρδιά.

Δεν δίνει, δεν δέχεται. Πολύ απλά δεν δουλεύει.
Κανονικά, θα έπρεπε να είναι χρώματος λευκού, γιατί όχι, και μαύρου.

The rebel hearts.

These hearts were made one night, while noone was looking. Since that night, passers-by walk up and down the seacoast searching for them. If you happen to stroll down an area called Flisvos in Athens, look out for them. Good things start to happen after they are spotted.

The score-4 heart.

When I was littler than little some big guys bought me this game. I rarely won as I daydreamed most of the time. But in my mind I won despite noone knowing.

The Greek hearts.

They are not mute, the Greeks. But their voice is a whisper stepped on by louder, angrier, filthier, disgusting voices.

In this picture, the Greek hearts hid in the sewage. Just for a little while. Only one was left behind. I suppose in times of crisis, some go down.

And I quote Shaw:
"Some men look at things as they are and say 'why'? I dream of things that never were and say 'why not'?"

Cheers to 'why nots'.

The lonely heart.

This woman spat love and swallowed none. Ok. Maybe drops.

The kite heart.

Flying a kite is not an every day kind of thing. A commuting heart though is. Kite hearts follow you everywhere. As long as you find one thing to fall in love with every single day. Try it out and you'll never walk alone again.

The last-love heart.

And may one's last love last forever...

The snow heart.

Red stands out on a white background. This is exactly what this lost heart was aiming for.

The poison heart.

The maker of this told me that if you take a sip, two things might happen.

Become strongly unable of loving.
Become strongly unable of not loving.

Don't know which one hurts less.

The note heart.

No, no, no! I don't love money. I just love ruining it, using it, defacing it. Coz it's grown to mean everything to everyone and that sounds so wrong.

The twin hearts.

These are identical twins although the left one looks more wrinkly. The right one, you see, got bottoxed and is now looking for other, vain hearts to make friends with.

The Chaplin heart.

This heart goes to all the tramps looking for some light at the end of the tunnel.

The valentine heart.

The three versions of this heart go like this:
1. Gumi loves Guma so much he just wants to eat her. Tenderly, he whispers "agapishku" in her ear...
2. Gumi's love's faded away with time, leaving Guma's bleeding heart on a salad chopping board.
3. Gumi and Guma just had another flour war in their kitchen, then took silly pictures of each other's hearts.

The ruler heart.

Some say that it is the mutual love between you and your country that makes you a true patriot. What fun to use a patriot's ruler. How boring and common to think "it's just a ruler with a heart on it". Be imaginative.

The shoe heart.

The Comme Des Garcons shoe heart. When a concept gets caught in materialism, it doesn't stop being a concept. Same with hero faces stamped on t-shirts. Walking with a concept sounds fair.

The robot heart.

I met Roboroach at a fancy dress party. Secretive and very ahead for his times, he detested the robotic pace of life. He is now in exile in a far away place that he calls BlueLand. Alone with his heart, he writes stories on the sand which then pass on to eternity.

The Friendship heart.

Some time ago, two girls lived in the Country of the Rising Heart. With chopsticks they stirred hot cups of future visions. Down they cliff dived in plates filled with white illusions. One of them was born today, twenty nine earth years already flown away.

Bansky based piece.

The trapped hearts.

Most hearts get trapped in the exhausting give and take of human relationships. Enough with this shit. Today is freedom. Today, hearts got trapped by choice. Heartless people will try to locate their missing hearts in vain. Because the tree they chose to rest on doesn't even exist.

The balloon heart.

Once upon a time there lived a balloon with a heart. And if you don't believe it, that's just because you've grown too old.
