The Little Prince heart.

The Little Prince loved the pilot's game. Not only did he guess the elephant was eaten by a snake but he took the game a step further.

This was the first drawing he did when he returned to his planet.

And guess what. This is not a heart eaten by a snake.

Little Prince says this is just a disproportionally big heart for a snake.

The concrete hearts.

When it was all still liquid, a group of children took some thin wooden sticks to play with. So little did they know that the planetary system they formed was meant to live forever.

The tobacco heart.

This is the only heart I am ashamed of.

Mr. Grim Reaper's heart.

When everyone thought Pompom'd passed away something miraculous happened:

Mr. Grim Reaper buttoned his cloak and put aside his scythe.
With Captain Hook's hook, he went fishing for the first time in Soul Collection history.
He grabbed Pompom's line heart and gave it a good shake to bring it back to life.

Pompom's ears reddened, sunrays hit his newborn face. He breathed in the nostalgic, familiar smells and he knew, deep inside, that Mr. Grim Reaper has a heart, afterall...

The Peaceboat hearts.

There is a boat out there that takes curious people on a journey of a lifetime.

Its people get covered in salt because this boat can take days, sometimes weeks between its ports of call. Sailors stroll on the decks and when the air is clean, the atmosphere crystal clear, they look through the surface of the ocean. There, under the painted gold, shiny, sparkly water carpet, some see mermaids. Others hear big fish munching little fish. A few see families of hearts speeding up behind the propeller. It looks something like this.

This boat arrived in Athens today.

The spider heart.

This is for Walt Whitman. There's no heart in the center of the web. No spider either. Just a soul trying to connect.

The rice heart.

The eight hundred grains of rice did not want to unite in harmony. They left little lonely grains on the sides to show that nothing will ever be perfect. That's what they  thought. And isn't this rice heart just perfect? Now, this is what I think.

The flaked wall heart.

A group of 'Trojans' was walking down an empty warrior street. They made this heart in rememberance of things past.

The earing heart.

Last week I took my two hearts out for a drink.

The Lake heart.

World Water Day today. Save it, drink it, observe it.
This is a famous natural heart in one of the most famous lakes of northern Greece.

Little lake people say that when you bathe in these waters, shiny sparkly creatures stick on your skin. They suck in all the negative energy of your body in tiny, mouthwatering sips. They then swim away towards the Forest of Buried Cells where they spit out and bury everything in  the Giant Cemetary of Negative Cells.  The shiny sparkly creatures are the best grave diggers of the world!

The tablecloth heart.

It's World Poetry Day today. Take something real, change it, kick it, reshape it, transform it, and for heaven's sake, make that real sound sweeter:

"Hunger feels like pincers,
like the bite of crabs,
it burns, burns and has no fire.
Hunger is a cold fire.
Let us sit down soon to eat
with all those who haven't eaten;
let us spread great tablecloths,
put salt in the lakes of the world,
set up planetary bakeries,
tables with strawberries in snow,
and a plate like the moon itself
from which we can all eat.

For now I ask no more
than the justice of eating."

from "The great tablecloth" by Pablo Neruda
Anthi, thanks for 'cooking' the fish.

The ATM hearts.

These hearts love ATMs. They believe too much realism and cynicism have killed romanticism. And so they put spells on the buttons to show humans how pissed off they are. If after using an ATM you start feeling kind of awkward, more timid or modest or generous with things that can't be bought, then it must be that spell growing in you. Enjoy...

The Miyazaki Spirit heart.

I no longer have closet-monsters in my room. However, when there's negative energy around, I secretly call for Miyazaki's Spirit monster. I watch it devour all the real life monsters that bother my people. You only see five of them here, but there's moooore. Already eaten, their paste is pulping, soaked in acid, stomach juices.

The brownie heart.

This heart was made one morning by a woman strange to us. She made it choco-yummy, she made it cherry-sweet, and now it's in my stomach, delightful brownie pick.

The music heart.

A friend of mine took her giant heart for a walk in the city.

Music by Roger Sanchez.

The shadow heart.

Oi! It's here. Come and get it!

The Special Forces heart.

It's 1.30 pm,
Special Forces fast asleep,
Mermaids wander by their feet,
Rockin lullabies, lyrics deep,
Their heart-bed makes it way too sweet.
And so they sleep. And sleep...

The origami hearts.

Today's paper hearts are dedicated to Mr. Yoshizawa, one of the most famous and masterful origamists in history.

Mr. Black and Mr. White are getting ready for today's Origami Feast down by the paper dunes. Mr. Black is a serious business man who loves to wear ties, drink sodas on the rocks and smoke tobacco rolled in watermelon flavoured rizzlas from Amsterdam. Mr. White is a sewage cleaner and a heavy Jameson downer who knew "Withnail" before the movie was made.

13 March 2012

The voodoo heart.

Mr. Pat Robertson, an evagelist, told some time ago that the Haiti earthquake happened because Haitians made a pact with the devil. Mr. Pat Robertson also said some time ago that some angry, furious tornadoes ripped the US because people didn't pray enough.

So my doll committed suicide coz she couldn't stand pathological believers who talked much and proved nothing.

The lollipop heart.

Most lollipops I see in my country have cockerel forms. They are shiny and seethrough red like this one. I like cracking them with my front teeth and letting the bits disolve in my mouth. My tongue gets lollipop red too. I want my next lollipop to be like this one.

The Great East Japan Earthquake hearts.

This is in memory of the 11/03/11 victims.

Over three thousand hearts missing. Almost sixteen thousand hearts gone. Resting up in the clouds. In peace.

The lame psychedelic heart.

When Loulak drew this heart she had in mind something deeper. She wanted to jump in the picture and travel through colour time to the long distant heart.  When she realised how lame her drawing was she decided to delay her colour space travel. She now looks at it and pictures her perfect heart, dropped in perfect coloured circles, where only perfect people space-travel...

Babushka's heart.

Babushka is sleeping with her eyes wide open. Most of my friends get scared when they meet her. And nobody's ever noticed her heart. Except me.

The tree heart.

Woman's Day today.

Once upon a time there was a heart tree. A snake offered one of its hearts to a woman. The woman took a bite and offered it to a man. It all came down to sharing.

The hide and seek heart.

It's nearly the end of spring in Black Forest, Britain. A group of young campers disperses in the woods, slowly getting swallowed by the long trees.  Patches of shy-looking sunlight razorcut through the green carpets of their leaves. Ah, those green carpets! Under them they ran, and hid, and seeked for endless hours. Like there was no tomorrow.

I would very much like to know why people stop playing this game when they grow older.

6 March 2012

The eclipse heart.

The light was dim, the viewing, spectacular. Red flames were dancing behind the blackness, peoples heartbeats going faster and faster during the disappearance and the reappearance.

5 March 2012

The melting heart.

Men in suits rushing for their next multimillion deals. Friends chatting away about life's plan-B's. Old couples discussing survival after retirement. Cars, tricycles, bicycles, horns, heels. And would you believe it that noone stopped to check if I am dead or alive.

The secretive hearts.

All three of them have something to hide. Mistake or regret? Mmm, it might well be that one night the secret messages detached themselves from the wall and crawled downwards, entering through the holes to some kind of underground eternity.

The Hina Matsuri heart.

ひなまつり - Hina Matsuri is the Doll's Festival or Girl's Day in Japan and it's celebrated on the 3rd of March. People decorate their homes with dolls and pray for their girls happiness and growth. The little boy also has a heart but today is just not his day.

The Mao heart.

Loudly fighting for steamed rights. Here's a bad 'organ'.

1 March 2012

The Ghandi heart.

Silently fighting for the good of humanity. Here's a good heart.
